Aircraft PPF at Pompano Air Park, Why We Specialize Here

Most PPF shops focus on cars. We extended the same precision to aircraft, working out of Pompano Air Park to serve Broward and Palm Beach private aviation. Here is what makes the work different.

When clients hear we install paint protection film on aircraft, the first question is usually how we got there. The answer is straightforward, a long-time client asked, we studied the application standards, and we built a process around the unique demands of aviation surfaces.

A regular client of ours owns a Cirrus SR22. He had us PPF his Porsche and his wife's Cullinan, and one day asked if we could do the same for his plane. The leading edges of wings and propeller blades take a beating from bugs, gravel, and debris at altitude. Factory paint on aircraft is expensive to touch up and even more expensive to redo. The math on PPF is even better than it is on a six-figure car.

We work out of Pompano Air Park because that is where the Broward and northern Palm Beach private aviation traffic actually lands. Cirrus, Cessna, and Piper owners can taxi straight to our work area without flying down to a Miami-based shop. Our application process accounts for compound curves on cowlings, edge sealing for high-airflow zones, and the specific film thicknesses aviation surfaces demand at 200+ knots. The XPEL film we use on cars carries over to aircraft, but the prep, layout, and finishing technique are different in every meaningful way.

Today PROXOTIC handles leading edges, cowlings, spinner caps, and high-impact zones for Cirrus, Cessna, and Piper owners across South Florida. It is a specialty service we built deliberately, and the Pompano Air Park location is the reason it works the way it does.
