Why PPF is Non-Negotiable on a Six-Figure Paint Job
You just spent six figures on paint, wrap, or a body kit finish. Here is why skipping paint protection film is the most expensive mistake you can make.
We see it more often than we should. An owner drops serious money on a custom paint job or premium wrap, drives it for six months, and comes back with rock chips, swirl marks, and staining that could have been prevented entirely.
Paint protection film, PPF, is a clear, self-healing urethane film applied over painted or wrapped surfaces. It absorbs impacts from road debris, prevents UV fading, and resists chemical staining from bird droppings, tree sap, and industrial fallout. On a six-figure paint job, it is not optional. It is insurance.
We recommend full-front PPF at minimum, hood, fenders, bumper, mirrors, and headlights. For clients who drive their builds regularly, we push for full-body coverage. The cost of PPF is a fraction of a repaint, and it keeps the finish looking new for years.
At PROXOTIC, we apply XPEL Ultimate Plus on every build that leaves our shop. The film is virtually invisible, self-heals minor scratches with heat, and carries a ten-year warranty. We have never had a client regret it. We have had plenty regret skipping it.
